Aight, let's recall the main reason why I started this blog-ish thing. I wanted to express my opinion and share my thoughts about the things that I'm criticized. Facebook would do this for me, but I didn't want to make people feel anxious just because my post randomly appeared on their newsfeed.
I couldn't hold myself to address air pollution. This is the time of the year that I hate the most. Temperature is about to fall below zero, and people about to start burn those fossil fuels. **** ****** ****** *** ***** *****.
As doctor can assume your health status by looking at your face or eyes, economists can say economic well being of a country by looking at its pollution. I don't know about other underdeveloped countries cuz I have never cross the boarder. But I am pretty sure that Mongolia has the worst environment to live specially in the winter time. You might be criticized by previous sentence thinking about how beautiful nature we have. I will not argue with the fact that we have beautiful nature but the fact that I believe everyone would agree with is we are destroying it.
International scholars claim that there are many factors which pollutes air in Mongolia. And they suggest different solution for different factors. However, I believe the only universal solution would be healthy economy. With healthy economy, folks can buy apartment, house or at least proper fuels for heating purpose.
London had as worse air pollution as Ulaanbaatar back then. As they stated, air pollution in London had 5 different causes.
1. Fossil Fuels
2. Emission from motor vehicles
3. Forest fires
4. Volcanic eruptions
5. Industry and manufacturing.
See? we have only two, maybe three causes out of five comparing with the great air pollution in London.
Moreover, what is the saddest thing about Mongolia? It's we have done nothing effective since the beginning of air pollution. Politicians promise to fight against air pollution every fucking year but they ain't done nothing. But we've many examples like London, or Beijing which encountered against same problem but successfully.
We gotta realize that history is not there for pride, history is there to learn. Learn from others, I am not saying that copy all solutions from them. But there should be something we can implement.
