ZING's favorite movies that can bring you the Holiday Spirit.

zing

Christmas is just around the corner people, or should I say New Year? Anyway, December is the most beautiful yet exciting month of the year for me and I hope it is the same for many of you too.

One more year is ending, which means we have plenty of thing that needs to be done including "a year ending reports" if you're working, or the scary "FINALS" if you're a student. Despite all the stresses and negativity out there, its' better to give yourself a little bit of time to feel the holiday vibe and cheer yourself up.

So these are my 8 favorite Christmas/New Year movies.

1. Home Alone 1, 2

Hey, December without home alone is just like a fries without ketchup aight. KEVINNNNNN. Yes, no matter how many times I've watched Home Alone series, I still love it. Unfortunately, the series continues with different actor for Kevin from its 3rd episode, so let's say nope to Home Alone 3 and unauthentic Kevin.

2. Love Actually

When christmas comes, everything seems they have something to do with love and romance right? Love actually contains a numerous of couples who are in love or fell in love or in secret love. whatever. Hence, a joyful, entertaining date movie will leave you with a smile on your face and an almost irresistible urge to hug somebody.

3. Holiday

The unique story about two women who struggles with their love life and decided to swap their houses for the holiday which will change their life. Running away from a broken heart has never been so much fun as in The Holiday, a delightful romantic comedy about love, life and making a change.

4. New Year's Eve

Every one of us, at some point, forgot the most important thing in our life. The movie is about different incidents between different characters which will end, of course, happily ever after. (btw, that's how things supposed to end in Dec, isn't it?)

5.ELF

Have you ever feel as a black sheep in your group? Like you're some kinda alien? If yes, The classic Christmas movie will make you feel it is NOT bad to be different from stereotype of society because they didn't face all the things that you have gone through to be here. Btw, can I add some sugar syrop on my spaghetti?

6. KRAMPUS

You better watch our, You better not cry... If you've been naughty child in past year, you better expect lovely Krampus instead of fat red guy. Then maybe next year, you'll be a good child and listed in the NICE list.

7. Bad Santa (+16)

If you can't picture your name on Santa's Nice list, it's okay. Because not all santas are good. This movie will definitely will help you a bit if you are naughty but scares from KRAMPUS. Because Bad Santa doesn't care if you're naughty or nice...

8. The Night Before (+18)

Christmas is all about being fun right? But our definition of FUN is little bit different. So here is some adult-ish comedy movie. The Night Before is a great blend of vulgar humor and Christmas warmth. It has the right amount of drugs, sex and language to entertain any weekend audience, but also has the right amount of heart and light.

Hope you will enjoy these movies if you decided to watch them. However, don't forget to dive into your work afterwards ;).

And please, don't forget to share your favorite Holiday movie on the comment section below, so I can check em out too.

Happy Holiday (Хоол идье),
